Light Shift

Hi There!

I’m Elizabeth, and I support people on their journey of healing, self-discovery, and restoration. I work with individuals who have experienced trauma, emotional wounds, and deep struggles with self-worth — helping them reconnect with who they truly are beneath the pain.

I know how disorienting it can feel to carry shame, to feel disconnected from yourself, and to question your value after difficult life experiences. Trauma has a way of distorting how we see ourselves and the world around us. You may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward.

Life has a way of shaping us. The environments we grow up in, the relationships we experience, and the moments where we felt unseen, unsafe, or unworthy all leave an imprint. Over time, these experiences can quietly influence how we see ourselves, how we relate to others, and what we believe we deserve.

You may find yourself feeling disconnected from who you once were. You may struggle with self-doubt, anxiety, depression, or self-harm. You may feel overwhelmed by emotions you don’t fully understand, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. These are not signs that something is wrong with you — they are often signs that your nervous system learned how to survive in difficult circumstances.

Our work together is about creating a space where you don’t have to carry those experiences alone.

it’s Your Story

This is a space for reflection, restoration, and self-discovery. I believe every story is meaningful, and I want to hear & understand yours. Many people come to therapy feeling isolated, misunderstood, or disconnected from themselves. You may feel like you don’t quite belong anywhere anymore. You may be questioning who you are, what you believe, or where you fit in the world.

Trauma has a way of creating this sense of separation — from others and from yourself.

When you’ve experienced judgment, rejection, loss, neglect, or emotional harm, it can leave behind a belief that you are somehow not enough. Over time, these experiences can shape your identity and your relationships, leading to anxiety, depression, self-harm, people-pleasing, emotional shutdown, or a deep sense of shame.

These patterns are not flaws.
They are intelligent survival responses.

In our work together, we take time to understand how your experiences have shaped you — not with blame or judgment, but with curiosity and compassion. We explore the stories you carry about yourself, where they came from, and whether they still reflect who you truly are.

In our work together, we focus on several key areas:

  • Trauma Healing: Supporting you in processing past experiences that continue to impact your emotional well-being, relationships, and sense of safety.

  • Restoring Self-Worth: Helping you rebuild a healthy relationship with yourself, challenge shame-based beliefs, and reconnect with your inherent value.

  • Identity & Self-Discovery: Supporting you in understanding who you are beyond survival, expectations, and past roles.

  • Emotional Regulation & Coping: Developing tools to manage overwhelming emotions, depression, anxiety, and self-harm urges in healthier ways.

  • Creative & Expressive Healing: Using art therapy and play-based approaches to access healing beyond words — especially for children and youth.

Together, we create a foundation for healing that is grounded in safety, compassion, and empowerment.

Supporting Teens & Young Adults

I have a deep passion for supporting teens and young adults during this formative and often overwhelming stage of life.

This is a season where identity, belonging, and self-expression are front and centre. Many young people today are carrying immense pressure — academically, socially, emotionally, and internally. Anxiety, depression, self-harm, and low self-worth are increasingly common, and many feel they have nowhere safe to land.

I meet teens and young adults where they are, with honesty, patience, and respect. Our work is practical, relational, and grounded in real life. We focus on building emotional confidence, understanding identity, strengthening boundaries, and developing tools that actually work outside the therapy room.

My goal is to help young people feel more connected to themselves, more confident in who they are, and more equipped to navigate life with resilience and clarity..
